D15b misfiring issues
Got a 96 ex coupe with a jdm d15b 1.5 vtec in it. Bought it couple days ago, and been working on it. Showing multiple misfire codes. New plugs and wires, and starting to service the injectors. Has the y8 intake on it, as well as dizzy. Misfire seems to be worse at idle, but smoothes out over 3.5k rpms, besides check engine flashing. Any advice from someone whose had this happen before, or might know the cause, greatly appreciated. Would like to keep the car, and use it as a daily.
Compression is good in all cylinders?
If the codes aren't pointing to which cylinder is "dead" you can isolate by unplugging one ejector at a time to see if it has any affect. You mention new plugs and wires but don't say if you did a spark test. If the spark is good then test the fuel injector(s).
Fuel, spark, air.
Good luck.

In my experience there have been two times I had a flashing CEL and misfires: one the issue was in the distributor--bad coil and the other was the Engine Coolant Temperature sensor being bad
