Default 1991 Ed hatch crank no start

I’ve been having trouble lately with my hatchback, prior to the issue my car drove ok (except when I first got it it would turn off while idling but I clean the iacv after that it never happened and it would also not go past 80 mph and it would start struggling a lot if I attempted to go past it) then one night I went to go out driving it and I noticed it lost so much power to it wouldn’t even go passed 30 so I turned around parked it back home and I checked up on it the next day, now it won’t start... it would barely crank but not start. I checked for a lot of things, I’m getting fuel and spark and everything. I cleaned the throttle body as well... if anyone has any idea that would be great. I’m also planning on doing a b series swap (I have everything EXCEPT for the motor itself) so if it’s something major and I would rather do the swap then right away, just haven’t planned in to do it soon bc of college.

Are there any ECU codes? Is this MPFI?

The last few times I had a no-start situation it was because of TPS and MAP, but I had an A6 w/ MPFI. Ignition coil or ICM would be suspect too, but you said you get spark. How are you checking for fuel and spark?
