Default Old alarm I've never had a remote for armed itself after dead battery

My car is a 97 Acura Integra I've had for 3 years. When I first got the car I noticed an old Clifford Alarm sticker in it, but neither me or the previous owner have ever had a fob for it. A few nights ago after a cold -26 degree low, I went to start it the next day and it turned over very slow, started for a split second then died. I tried again and it turned over so slow a few times then quit, the battery was dead.

Checked the battery and noticed it was from 8/2012, so it was a very old battery. Had a friend try jumpstarting it and nothing. So I bought a new battery, put it in and it still wouldn't turn over. I noticed a small red led light by the steering column blinking that I have never noticed before. Also the dash lights and blinker lights would flash like the alarm was going off, but the siren must've been taken out.

Somehow the alarm armed itself. The car is my winter beater I bought for $400, I don't drive it often so I've had the battery die and need recharged or get a jump start at least a dozen times since I bought it, and I've never had a problem until now. I honestly don't understand how now it randomly decided to do this.

Is there any way I can bypass the alarm or unarm it without a remote to be able to start it?

Look for a valet button or switch under the dash area. Some aftermarket alarm requires only one flip of the switch or a press of the button, then turn ignition on to disarm. For a Clifford, you may have to press the button a number of times, then turn the ignition on.

I looked everywhere for a valet button, didn't see it mounted anywhere or hanging under the dash. I took off the panels around the steering column, and the alarm wiring is such a mess. It looks like it was installed very poorly, and also looks like someone half way started disconnecting the alarm. There's loose exposed wires hanging everywhere, and the alarm antenna is no longer there. It's a mess, I don't even know where to start with that wiring. I'm wondering if there's a short somewhere.

Also something else I just thought of that I should add, I'm not sure if it'd be related or not. A couple months ago it wouldn't turn over in the cold because the battery posts needed cleaned and it wasn't making a connection. I left the keys in the ignition and as soon as I connected the battery it cranked and started itself. The car is an auto.
