Default Would you go from 15x7.5 to 15x8?

Just curious as this is driving me crazy. For a turbo FWD B series, would you bother with the extra half inch? The wheels I have are 15x7.5 with +35 and I can go to the same exact wheels in 15x8 +35. Right now I run 205s with no rub and no fender roll.

I honestly don't think it'll make a difference for THAT little. I run the same 205 width with no issues; 205/60/15
Lowered at that. No problems.

If you can fit a 215 width tire on there without rubbing, which I've seen 15x8" wheels before and I don't think they rubbed, then you'd have about 5%more width. So if it's worth your money, then I'd say do it.
I think it depends how low your car is, but I remember seeing 8" wide on civic/integras before.

It all depends upon the purpose of the car. If this is still a street car I don't see any reason to go wide and and 15x7.5
Especially if it is really for the street more than anything else. I could easily see one go to an 8 or 8.5 for autox, short distances, tighter corners more often, but now you're limited on wheel choice. offset, and possibly overstretching a tyre to the point of stress, when the chassis is going through enough as it is when retrofitted with a turbo making over 400whp.

So, I'd K.I.S.S, and stick with the 15x7 and focus more on the tyre choice and wheel offset.

But I'm conservative like that....so
