CR-V Hybrid 12V Battery Charging?
I remember reading for the current gen Insight you're not supposed to use the under-hood terminals for anything other than getting a jump, as the battery on that car is in the center console and I guess the under-hood terminals aren't designed to jump another vehicle or trickle charge the 12V battery.
I've got a 2020 CR-V Hybrid now which I understand has a similar hybrid system, but I see it has what appears to be just a standard 12V battery under the hood like any other car. Can the current gen CR-V hybrid jump other vehicles and trickle charge the 12V battery via something like a CTEK charger?

Shouldn't be a problem. Direct connection to the battery terminals so no worry about under sized wires to burn up.
I have owned and still own a number of Honda Hybrids with the 12v battery in the engine compartment. If you have never jump started something using a hybrid it is quite a treat. Never heard other cars crank so fast while giving a jump start. That hybrid DC-DC converter really packs a punch!
