2000 Honda CR-V won't crank below freezing but starts when above freezing.
My son has a 2000 Honda CR-V that won't crank when it gets below freezing. The battery has been replaced and tested as good with CCA for Wisconsin mild winter. As soon as it is in the twenties or below the CR-V when you turn the key everything lights up but no starter engages. When it is mid 30s or warmer it cranks and starts right up. Starter, alternator, belts, sparkplugs, etc. have all been changed. The car does have a remote start and even that won't engage when activated during 20s or below weather. Anyone ever see anything like this? I keep thinking it is the battery even though it is new and tested fine.
Check your cables to ground and to the starter and do a draw test on the starter. If the starter is getting worn, the cold battery may not be strong enough to supply excess current. Same goes for the cables. My gut us starter motor.

UPDATE 12/17/22: The issue turned out to be the starter relay. Once that was replaced, it starts over and over in the cold, even on a morning around 5-10 degrees F.
