Hey everyone,
first time posting on here. I'm a proud owner of a 1993 Civic Si. Unfortunately, a couple days ago some dumb*** hit her while she was parked overnight. The fender got hit and its now dented and the paint is peeling off. I plan on getting some PDR done to repair the dent. Any suggestions on how I could fix the paint though? I prefer to do it DIY rather than pay an arm and leg for a body shop to fix it. I bought some touch up paint but not sure if that would suffice. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated. Thanks!
option 1: go to the junk yard and find a fender thats already red.
option 2: cheaper to buy a aftermarket fender and go at it with spray paint. PDR will cost you more that what an aftermarket fender will cost you.
option 3: go on ebay. ive seen sellers post pre painted body parts.
being in the autobody industry, ive seen "ebay" pre painted bumpers and it doesnt look too good....
but it will look better then a rattle can job
