Default JDM b18c ITR in 00 ex civic

I had removed the engine which was a 95 JDM ITR out of a 96 ek hatch and swap it in a 00 ex civic. I have this plug I have no idea about and want to make sure it’s not need before I try to start the car.

engine 95 JDM ITR
engine harness unknown( might be Lx/DX from ek hatch) everything worked on the hatch.
ECU is P05 chipped with Crome
car is a untouched 00 ex civic.

2 attachments are for the plug I have no clue about 1 attachment is of the ek hatch engine is being removed from

thank you and have a bless day

This what I gather from searching the past few days.

Engine harness is 0bd2a
ecu is obd1 with obd2a to obd1 jumper harness
Car is 0bd2b

engine harness is completely wired tucked in

unsure on what to do is there a obd2a-obd2b to obd1 jumper harness?

thank you

Why are you using an obd2a engine harness in an obd2b car?

that’s the harness that came with the motor when it was removed.

So. This doesn't mean it is correct for your application. You have already admitted that the swap came out of a '96 Civic. For the best swap operation over time, it is recommended to use the engine harness that originally came with your chassis (or a replacement that is EXACTLY like it), and modify it to fit/plug in to the engine that you are dropping in.

It is possible to convert the OBD-2A engine harness to work inside an OBD-2B chassis, but it is WAAAYYY more work than is necessary... and once you start down that rabbit hole, you are committed. If you make ANY mistakes, you will have to replace the entire dash harness AND engine harness... so this is not a job for the rookie wrench turner. So, just do as I suggested above and you will be fine.

^ All of that.

A 99-00 Civic Si "EM1" harness will be 100% plug-in for your engine, except for possibly the distributor. depends on the year of the distributor currently on the engine.
Next closest option is a 99-01 CR-V manual trans harness. Same deal with the distributor plus you will need to add VTEC wiring.
Third best option is repurposing your EX harness. Will take some massaging plus the distributor issue.

Unplug the green connector NOW. They are not cross compatible between generations and you may have a bad day if you power on the car.
