Hey guys,

Have 99974 miles on my accord. I'm the only owner. I just noticed that the heated mirrors weren't heating. Not sure if they ever worked. This storm caused some ice/snow to stick to the mirrors and I didn't want to scrape it. After starting the car and using the rear defrost/mirror defrost button to clean the back window, I noticed the ice on the mirrors wasn't melting. Sure enough, neither side was heating up using my laser thermometer to check. . A little research indicated the fuse for the mirror heat is under the hood, fuse #16. When I looked at the fuse ID under the cover, it was blank. Everything online shows a 10A in the box like this one

Mine is blank. I checked the #16 location and there is no fuse in that location. Question to you guys, where would I find the fuse for the heated mirrors? I am attaching the underlid diagram from my fuse box and actual photo of the fuses. The red arrow is where I think #16 is/should be. I'm pretty sure all EX came with heated mirrors and I do have the mirror image on my defrost button. So, pretty sure I should have a fuse in location 16. Thanks for the help.

 

It is under-dash Fuse No. B5 (7.5A) which protects the Rear Window/Power Mirror Defoggers (B5) circuit, as well as other circuits.

 

@tech8 Thanks. I checked that fuse, it is indeed 7.5A. It is intact. My rear defogger/defrost works, but the mirrors don't.
