1981 Honda Accord issue
Hey everyone. I have an opportunity to buy an 81 accord sedan.
the owner said it recently started blowing white smoke. At the shop, they found 2 plugs that had oil on them, but the compression test and leak down test came back normal (all cylinders even, 110psi) no internal, or external leaks detected.
they put new plugs in and it fixed the issue and misfires. When I looked at it, it seemed like oil was dripping down the front of the engine. Could oil fouled plugs and white smoke be a valve cover gasket issue? What else could be causing this? Should I run away screaming?
Thank you. Let me know.
