yes i already tried SEARCH, but didnt find what i wanted. i took the car to the shop and it turns out that my rack and pinion is fucked. they wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for for replacement so i decided to do the work myself. is it hard to remove/install it? whats needed and what should i look out for? youll need to get an alignment after you change the rack unless you have a good eye.

It took us 3 hours to do it on a lift. And if the rack is bad then you'll need to buy a new rack and pinion. Thats about $100 i think. If the ruber boots are still good i'll buy them from you.

CRX manual in online.........

BTW took me less than 30 minute to SWAP the rack on my 93 DX HB. All I did was follow the Helms instructions.

uuurrghhhhh. i asked for somebody to post up the helms instructions for a 94 dx. oh well i ended up taking the thing to the shop. it was tooo frustrating for me. theyre gunna charge me $280 for a brand new part and labor. BTW, it took me about that long to take all the bolts off too, it was the part where i didnt know where to slide it through to get it out that i was having trouble with. the steering rod kept getting in the way. thanks anyways guys

the funny thing is that i tried that. i talked to the mechanic today and he said that he had to unbolt the cat converter and shift linkage to take it out. i guess it doesnt really matter anymore but it would be good for anybody else that might have the same prob in the future. Thanks again

I'll guess the mechanic didn't have a factory manual on hand.

go inside of the car down below where the pedals are located youll find a plastic cover that you need to remove. then you see 2 10mm bolts. undo those and youre all set.
