Shift Lever Position Indicator blinking 03
Hello all,
In my 2017 Honda Accord Sedan (4-cylinder, 23K miles), the Transmission Lever Position Indicator on the display occasionally keeps blinking 03, instead of showing the shift lever position (P/R/N/D). It typically happens when I am driving, and the only way to make it go away is by turning off the engine, and back on again. Then it works fine for a few days, but the blinking indication eventually comes back.
Could anyone help explain what this indication is and what it means? I suspect it's a faulty pressure sensor somewhere, but I have not found anything specific in all my searches. There are no other error indicators or alerts showing on the display, and when I did an OBD-II check, there were no error codes. Gear is shifting properly and no funny noises are coming from it.
Thanks.
