Hello,

It is known that the outside mirrors from a Civic 2 and 3 doors (hatchback and Coupe) and the 4 doors (Sedan) have a different plate that connects to the door. There is some threads about it here in the Forum.
For Hatchback this plate have a round finish while for the Sedan it has a sharp finish as we can see in the photos.
Question is, have anyone here tryied to change this connection plates between this 2x type of mirrors?
On that way we could get it to be fitted to each type of Civic 2,3 doors or 4 doors... but is it easy!?
Or is hard work and the final result is bad on the way that we need to break something or even remove the rain protection or even remove some plastic welding?

In all likelihood the mirror surrounds will swap between 2/3-dr and 4-dr door mounts.
