HONDA CIVIC ECU 37820-P06-52 PODE SER SUBSTITUIDA POR OUTRA ?
Good night everyone, I’m warning you that this testo is dealt with by google, I’m Brazilian and here very little info about Honda Civic could you help me? my civic has a module 37820-P06-52 it had a damage due to the capacitor fluid it is a model d15b7 1.5 16v 4 nozzles automatic change to any other model of module that i can put? or only this one has a civic del sol automatic selling model 37820-P12-A01 does it fit? any model that fits?
El mencionado 37820-P12-AO1 will not work since your car is automatic and this ecu is for manual-- u need one that ends in -52
I'm sorry, this is an English speaking site. Please keep all posts in English.
I would hate to have to close or delete threads/posts.
You will need a P06-x5x ecu. P08 is for an 8 valve and will not have the right fuel maps, the P28 is for the vtec motor and will expect the vtec wiring and hardware present as well as have incorrect maps.
The ecu board is coated with a protective coating so it is possible that the capacitor didn't damage any components and you might be able to replace the capacitor and still have a working ECU.
Does your Brazilian car have an Electrical Load Detector (ELD) as part of the under hood fuse box? If it does then an P06-A5x ecu will be what you need. If on the other hand you do not have an ELD then you will want a Canadian P06-C5x ecu as the Canadian cars of the 5th gen did no have ELD's while the USA cars did.

Thanks for feedback
I changed the capacitor ilo the car is still working normally, the reason the module was opened and checking was because the nozzles were not pulsating, the car is working normally but the problem continues, sometimes the car works on gasoline
