Hey people, I’m vary new to Honda’s so pleased forgive me for my novice knowledge, but I was wondering if an civic EK (coupe) parts will for a EJ8 coupe? Was wanting to know so if possible with vary little to no modifications need so I can get some spoon sports parts. I would be greatly appreciated of any feedback on this subject

Don't focus too much on the chassis codes. Just look at the years, and you'll be fine.

Most parts are interchangeable on the sedan/hatch/coupes.

Just know 96-98 years are slightly different to their 99-00 counterparts. Main ones would be the climate control and the front end were different. Other than that, you're good.

 

Ok, because I was looking into the front bumper from spoon sports and just wanted to make sure it will fit before I drop $1200 on it, and other parts like the type R seats and so on. But thank you for the information

I had the link to the REAL spoon sport bumper EK but lost it .looking into finding it again but this one is similar to it but a FAKE due to it made of plastic not fiberglass and carbon fiber

That'd be an Air Walker bumper, which Spoon uses, but not actually make.

A similar bumper is Backyard Special. Main difference is the lower lip being kevlar.

 

Another question will the type R seats fit with no mods need?
