Default Part removal help? Rear wiper and hatch shocks.

The answer is likely glaringly obvious, but I'm just worried about breaking parts that I won't be able to replace. I'm trying to replace two parts: the windshield wiper on the hatch (just the blade, not the whole arm) and the trunk shocks that support the hatch when open.

Here's a pic of the current shocks. The new one has the normal retainer clip, but this one doesn't seem to have any method of popping it off. I tried yanking it by hand, prying with a flathead, and banging with a mallet. They still won't budge...

I'm also having trouble removing the rear wiper blade. The arm itself has some corrosion, so I'm not sure which part of it releases the blade. Any help is greatly appreciated!

thats because those shocks are not ment to seperate
you cant pop them off you need to unbolt them

i have a way to remove the bolts from the shocks but you need something to cut metal with
or you can go out and buy new bolts for your new shocks

post 503 on my build thread shows how i fix the problem your having
its on a different car but the repair is the same
