Hay you all! I'm from the state of Texas. My trade is in autobody. Professionally since 1980, but my father was in the trade since 1947. I've been around the trade since I was 6 years old. I always liked different cars and trucks. As I was getting old enough to drive my taste from American cars to foreign cars changed because of ( the gas shortage of the 70's). Anyway, I purchased my first Honda in 1975. I know it did not cost more than 3k new. But did not have a/c. Just plain Jane with a 4speed and AM radio. it was in a few accidents. One time totaled. Finally ended up in the boneyard. Many cars and years later I started to have a love for the CRX. I always liked the way the liftgate has the 2nd glass. I bought a CRX from a person around here for 1200$. The motor needed work. So like many projects, it stayed in storage for about 4 years. Then I had the time (because of life and job change) to replace the motor. I ended putting a 1.5 in it. It came with a 1.6. It drives fine, other than needing to change a part here and there. The body is rough so I painted it eggshell black. It's original black. The mileage is 240k. The engine has around 65k. Love to go country driving. That's all for now.
