Hi all,

Im looking for a list of all the different years/models/trims that have compatible parts with the 89 Si Hatch. Mainly looking for suspension, steering and brakes but smoke em if you got em.

First time user, Attempting to build my first EF. I bought the car about 6 or 7 years ago. Drove the hell out of it as my daily and never had to put a dime into it. (that 40mpg was nice to) I always wanted to put some work in to it but never had the time or money and ended up selling it to my father in law for a few hundred bucks when he was in need of a car. He ended up returning the favor and actually gifted it back to us a couple years later. Its been sitting for a while and is fairly rusted out but i don't believe it's beyond repair.

I have about $3k to spend right now and for that id like to get it on the road and rid it of rust. Doing all the work myself so I'm hoping that will cover the parts I don't already have.

damn those rockers look bad.

 

haha, yeah they are toast. Luckily I have brand new rockers for both sides and one quarter panel. The rest of the body is in decent shape though.

 

The FAQ at the top of the forum has links to a lot of good threads. There are several "compatibility" threads in there. I would start by looking through the FAQ.

 

how are the inner rockers, I was going to do some rust repair and it didn't look nearly that bad, but closer look showed that my inner rocker panels were gone.
