Default Carbotech pads for track use

Hellooo everybody. Just curious if anyone here has experience using carbotech pads, more specifically for track use. Stuck between getting xp8 or xp10 for the fronts. Also another question is would it be ok to leave my hp+ in the rear or should I upgrade to a carbotech pad for the back brakes as well. From the research I've done, alot of guys like to run the xp10/xp8 combo but I haven't found any info on a civic platform. My car is a 2013 si and I'll be using the stoptech st40 kit . Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Most cars here are much older, but your pad choices look to be in line with most. You don't necessarily need to run an aggressive pad in the back.
I use the Hawk DTC-60's up front and the blues in the rear.
There are some that run stock rear YMMV.

I'm with you on this as well. I've used the DTC-60s/Wilwood BP-30s in the front and Hawk black on the rear. Wasn't happy with pad/rotor life with the Hawks in the front. Rears have been fine, though I am going to the Raybees ST-43 F/R and see how that goes. I need a little more bite in the rear, need to maximize the bias and use a little more rear.

What kind of driver are you? Intermediate? Advanced? Seat Time?

Any other modifications to the car?

I've used XP10/8 combo on my turbo Miata and b18a turbo CRX. On my daily/backup track car (2013 Civic Si) I was gonna try XP12 up front due to the extra weight of this beast and either 10 or 8's in the back. Also, as other's asked, you're experience, tire size and compound play a role in your decision.

I remember reading a Hawk pad-heat chart that basically told you what pads to run based on expected heat range. I ultimately landed on HP+ for the rear since they had one of the best low-heat effective ranges. I've run Hawk dtc 30's or 60's (Can't remember) in front and HP+ in the back for several years now.

Same here, but I run 70's in the front. I started out with Carbotechs 10+ years ago, but changed over to Hawks because of their contingency with NASA.
