So I picked up a B16b trans with a cracked case, apparently the lsd had blown up and the transmission was rebuilt with the lsd being replaced with a standard open diff. The diff exploding cracked the case and it's been jb welded to hell, but it still leaks a bit. So I'm thinking it's probabally better to just get a new case for it, instead of getting this one welded. Also planning on installing an mfactory lsd.
So my question is; do I need to get specifically a B16b trans case, or will any B series hydro case work since I don't have the oem lsd?

 

Any hydro FWD B series case will work.
