Shift light hondata s300

Hey, anyone know how connect the indicator MIL shift light send it to external light in dashboard? I put wire MIL connect direct to external light but nothing. ( external light with negative )

Someone?

The mil is a ground side switch. The other side of your bulb should be connected to +12V
