Having trouble finding anything in sertvice manual on checking backlash for even a USDM ITR.

Anyone know what spec range is for a 98 ITR backlash or backlash for a US ITR diff?

 

do you mean the axial clearance spec for shimming the diff?

or backlash in the meshing of the gear(s)?

 

Backlash.

GSR open differential has the procedure in service manual but theres nothing for checking ITR helical LSD backlash.

Talked to rep at Syncrotech today and they said they do not even check anything in ITR LSD for clearances since there's alot of small side and pinion gears difficult to deal with.

 

There is no backlash spec for the ITR LSD.
