We've run our JDM H22A in our Honda Accord (1999 - Honey Badger Racing) in Champcar for a few years and it's super reliable. We're not quick but we stay out and do laps and manage to finish top 3-4 in our class regularly (B class).

Starting to use quite some oil now (1 - 1.5 quarts every 2 hours) and wanting to use the winter months to have it rebuilt.

Does anyone have any experience or suggestions on shops in Atlanta that we can contact about doing the work. Looking for reliability over bleeding edge power.

Appreciate any insight and suggestions.

 

I belive EBTEC rebuilds motors, they do great work but it's tough to get into their schedule. They're located in Austell/powder springs area.

 

You may just need valve seals.
