Default New here and back into Honda’s after about 10 years!

Hey everyone! I just got a new to me Honda after not having one for 10 years. I found one I want to build and have some fun with. I still remember a lot of Honda stuff but I’m a little foggy in certain areas and definitely new to the whole turbo thing, which is the direction I’m going with this build. Hoping you guys can help me out a little!

I bought a civic back in June. It’s a 98 civic with a b16b motor in it that’s been built up a little bit. new rods, pistons, arp studs...

the guy I bought it from was in the middle of putting a turbo kit in it when I acquired it. I’ve since cleaned some thing up on it and got new injectors, pump, some gauges, and hondata s300. It had a hood exit exhaust on it. I bought an exhaust but can’t seem to figure out how to get a down pipe to fit decent. It has a cast top mount manifold on it and the turbo sits a little crooked( aimed towards the motor) which is making it really tricky to get a down pipe attached. Has anyone ran across this? What did you do? I’d like to keep the top mount manifold since it’s already there and mounted with the turbo and oil lines nicely. The top mount down pipe I got for it is pretty far off from fitting. I can weld but not tig weld and it’s stainless. Just not sure what to do. I attached some pictures of the car and don’t worry guys a lot of it’s getting changed to make this a nice clean car
