Default Long time owner, new to doing my own repairs and upgrades

Long time Honda owner, with a few years deviation into mopar land. I recently kind of accidentally acquired a 1997 Accord LX sedan, which had been my father-in-law's, until he was no longer able to drive it.
The paint was basically destroyed, there were a couple minor rust spots and one bad one, and the interior was basically trashed.
So far, I've completely cleaned and replaced all the broken seats and trim in the interior with parts off a junk 96, fixed all the rust with wire brushing/sanding/priming/bondo, and made a rather noobish attempt to respray it with rattle cans. Not super happy with the results so far, but I'll probably sand it back and try again in the spring!
I'm not super interested in performance, most I might do is an intake and cat-back, and I wanna keep it an automatic, but I am very interested in interior upgrades. I intend to put in a new double din stereo, and add a small sub. Plan is to turn it into a comfy driver with great sound for commuting and errands and general fun, that I can maintain wholly myself. I've heard that it's possible some parts from the interior of a 97-99 CL might fit? That might be cool.
Anyways, hello all, see ya around!
