Many Turbo D16 questions on fuel injectors, ECU, and what to do next..
I have a 98 civic ex that I manual swapped. I'm putting together my turbo kit and I am not sure what injectors to get. Currently I have the automatic obd2a harness and ecu. I was looking at injector dynamics, but I see they have options for obd2 and obd1 connectors, I'm still unsure on what ecu I will be using. What ecu should I use? I've heard to use a p28 or p06, and I'm aware I would have to get a obd2 to obd1 harness adapter. I'm just trying to find out what would be my best option for ecu, and should I get the obd2 connecters to match my harness or obd1 to match the ecu.
You will want to pick your injector size based on what fuel you're running and your horsepower goals...what are these two pieces of information, and we can help you pick something that will work.
You are looking at the correct style injector (Bosch EV14) - this injector has a connector which does not match any of the EG/EK harnesses, so you'll have to run an adapter. If you're saying you are looking to buy adapters from ID, get the ones that fit your harness. You don't need the adapter to match the ECU.
What engine management system are you planning to run? The P28 (SOHC VTEC) and P06 (SOCH Non-VTEC) are both OBD1 ECU's which can be modified to take Hondata, Neptune, or any of the other plethora of OBD1 tuning options. The P06 can be modified to have VTEC.

The adapter you would need though, is to run the OBD1 ECU in your 98 chassis.
