key on, then what?
Newbie here, with a just acquired, non-running 2009 Ruck, 2000 miles. It's been sitting out of the weather for 18 months after it was stolen (recovered) and the thieves tried to drill or pry out the switch internals (where the key goes into, not the switch body). Surprisingly, the key still works, and there is no other apparent damage, but I'm wondering if the ignition switch is 100%.
When I first turn it on, the taillight flashes- once. And I can beep the horn - just once. No response from the headlights, brakelight or blinkers. And when I tested the plug, threads grounded to a frame bolt, there was no spark; zip. But I could here clicking every time I held the brake and pressed the starter button.
Battery is new, as is the plug, fuel filter and carb jets. Carb and gas tank cleaned (gummy, but no deposits or grit). Have a new fuel pump, but the old one may be fine. I have not reonnected either fuel pump yet.
What is the normal response when you key on a Ruck? I've a replacement switch ordered, but is there likely something else wrong? The limited electrical responses with switch on seem very odd.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks to an owner at Ruckus Central, I saw that Honda has a system disabler when the fuel pump is disconnected. When I hooked the pump back up, I had spark and now I have a running Ruck!
