Default Help dx to hf/si wiring

So I have a dx crx and when i put a bseries engine in it with it had a crx wiring harness on it. Now I'm new to hondas so I'm unsure what the bottom cinnector is for and why its not on my crx (which is a dx) and also what are the other wires for in the first pictures that go to that connector?

Damn - I want to say that that square plug in your second pic is a distributor connector.

As for the top pic, looks like the round plug for the engine harness connector on the driver side?

The 6 wire connector is specific to an SI(I think also HF?) harness. The DX harness does not have that connector at all. Also, the plug on the driver side strut tower is completely different; SI has several less wires and a lower wire count connector.
Your simplest option is to make the necessary modifications for an MPFI swap to a DPFI engine harness. Several threads are linked in the FAQ, this is the guide I used on my first swap: https://www.angelfire.com/d20/hcivic88/dx-siwiring.html
If you do not go that route, you you will need to remove the entire main harness and replace with an SI harness. Having recently undone a hackjob of this on a hatchback, I urge you not to do that.
