Hello to all.
After overfilling an automatic transmission on a 2008 crv and diving for 20 mins, the car hard shifted to 4th or 5th and then just started to rev. i hit the D3 button and it changes all ok. ive drained and refilled the atf properly but it just revs instead of engaging 5th gear. I've changed the 5 shift solenoids, removed and checked the 2 external solenoids for blockage and they both work when connected to 12v. The fluid was changed 2 months before by honda, but i needed to change the end casing which meant a drain down.
Ive rea that overfilling shouldn't do that much damage, but then other sites say it can

I've just ordered the A&B external solenoid to try that, but has anyone come across this before or know what i should try next?
