I’ve purchased two now both no go. First one was not made for V6 even though I was told eBay says you keep. I hate eBay. The second one I purchased from Amazon it was Megan Racing strut easy to install the mounts. The bar is the issue. The throttle cable holder on the engine compartment brace is right smack in front of the mount for strut bar attaches to . I only see two options 1. Send it back 2. Cut the holder off the bar. If you have any knowledge with this I would greatly appreciate your input

This is the J30a accord coupe engine bay in the photo you the cross brace that attaches under the front window cow. It has a throttle cable holder welded on top that is in direct line of where the strut attaches the the strut bracket. In order for the strut to be mounted the throttle cable holder would have to be cut. It is on all 98 accord coupe V6 OEM

 

the CG is the same as American in engine compartment. I see the strut you have have a lift the goes over the throttle holder. That would have been my choice unfortunately I didn’t consider CG accord compatibility thanks

 

Returned strut bar and left it as is working on coil overs etc now. Thanks for your input 👍🏻

 

this might be weird, but have you considered going to a suspension shop and seeing they would custom make one for you. Years and years ago I had this done for car where I wanted a unusual read sway bar because I made a non-standard read installed so nothing off the shelf was going to work. I don't recall it being much more than a standard bar. Just a thought.
