2004 Honda accord V6, was in the shop prior to me coming in to help gain control. In idle this mama is super pist, misfiring every Cyl. Blinking check engine light.. I'm currently sub contracted mechanic at my boys shop. In essence took over managing this shop while he handles business on other end. Car was here before me, trust me I know I shouldn't have even agreed to take it. **** getting hung up on a molested vehicle, I was hyped to diag this honda though, love honda engineering. Well half way though indexing upper valve train just trying to see suspicious activity.. of course there was coolant in oil in valvetrain, both sides ... Checked valve lash clearance... Way tight cylinder 6, at egr valve and port through runners and five also was tight on the exhaust valves.. tomorrow I'm adjusting bank 1 cylinders and oscoping the MAP sensor as I've read a sporadic spiking frequency along with poor compression will cause crazy misfire condition. this will be viewed on my solus edge I'm sure hoping that and will fix if verified and replaced or if anyone knows if it can be cleaned. Oh yeah already has new coil and plugs prior to.me..😐 hate when mechanics throw parts and are scared to troubleshoot and diag with proper procedures.. if any one knows of any help muchly appreciated
