HYBRID RACING SHORT SHIFTER (EG D-SERIES)

does anyone have this installed on their eg? where it connects to the shift linkage there is only 2 bolts possible for install (bottom & one of top 2). i have mine bolted on top right. i am having an issue where when i shift to 5th gear it curves to go into the gear instead of going straight in. i was wondering if this is common issue for this shifter on the dseries or if its just me.

I have mine installed to with a hasport shift linkage you mean it lights a 90 degree into 5th kinda? Mine does the same thing it came with 2 bolts one with a spacer for B series but if your using d series should be the shorter bolt but if your talking about going into fifth it's light right and up into fifth?
