2007 Honda civic 4 dr wiht AC - instaling alternator belt
I have new alternator belt , compared with the old one and they are pretty same length.
After installing it , following 2007 honda civic belt routing diagram the belt is very loose and the tensioner is on the "longest setting".
Installed the belt without moving the tensioner. The belt is very loose and I am afraid to start the car so it wont jump the wheels grooves .
Any suggestions ?

Okay, that is the longer drive belt than what originally came with the car.

The belt you removed probably is not the original belt; thus, it is around the same length as the new belt.
See this Honda service bulletin for the revised belt routing using the longer drive belt.
