Default 1988 Honda crx hf

Need a bit of help I was looking up how to run my vacuum lines and can’t seem to get the right answer I currently have my wastegate on a T that has the boost gauge and then to the manifold (d16y8) then I have the fpr by it’s self and need to connect my bov somewhere and is the only option for the distributor to be installed how I have it in the pic or just cutting off the ears if anyone knows how I can run that please let me know thank

that engine bay needs some love bro haha

ok i got some questions for you
first you think you can mount that fuel rail the other way around?
so the fpr is on the right side and not the left?

second
do you know how to cut metal and drill holes in metal ?
if you do then you could maybe make a bracket for the throttle cable so the cable sets straight
and not crooked with the throttle body

third the picture where your holding the vacume hose where the old map sensor is
you can delete that whole thing you no longer need it

fourth
im pretty sure that if your car does run it might not be running very good with that distributor
yes a problem is that the housing on that one doesnt bolt up
you need the obd1 distributor housing so all three hole match up
after thats done you can then time it using a timing light
im guessing right now its bolted up with only one bolt right ?

I agree with Marcos - lots of issues to sort out on this one. Also, this should probably get moved to the Forced Induction forum.

But to answer your question:

I would personally source the wastegate directly from the intake manifold on a dedicated line. Same with the fuel pressure regulator. Ideally neither of these would be on a shared source. If you have to have two things share a single source, I would put the boost gauge and BOV on the same source. Again, ideally each thing would have it's own source.

I will see if I can run the fuel rail the other way and eliminate all that stuff by the old map and purge valve.
what distributor should I try and run the one that I have on is a obd1 distributor

and you ain’t kidding the engine bay does need a lot of love I am planning on tucking and painting once everything is right. and at the moment it does turn on and drives but it’s running really rich And I have onLy tested it out going around the block a few times since I put the motor in and I am currently waiting on 880cc presicion injectors to arrive and need to change the map and then it will need a tune

and as for everything having its own source I am kinda stuck since the y8 IM only has the 2 ports that I see unless I am missing something and if I am not then should I just get a vacuum block to make up for the missing spots or just go back to the a6 IM since it has another spot on it

You could pull the manifold off and drill/tap then put in more vacuum ports, but most folks won't go that far. I think your suggestion of running a vacuum manifold is a good one. I would recommend you tee into the large brake booster hose for the vacuum manifold - make sure your tee is on the manifold side of the check valve and not on the brake booster side of the check valve.

I ended up going to the junk yard and got a obd2 distributor and changed the internals to the obd1 and it fits perfect on the head and ended up getting the throttle cable from a 98 ek. I am still waiting on my injectors ups is taking forever now days and once I have them I am gonna try and flip the fuel rail at the same time
