So I had a hondata s300 installed in my P61 ecu and I have a B18C in a 98 civic hatch.
Mods on the car are only I/H/E and I was able to make 161 hp at the wheels. Tuner says he expected more. He is reputable and have used him to tune before so I know the inadequacy lies with my car somehow.
Anyone with a similar car and set up, who can share their #'s and experience and also maybe thoughts on why I'm not making enough power, or if my results are on par with what could be expected?

Furthermore, I attempted to do a overrun decel tune. My exhaust is 2.5" with cat delete. I was so sure I would pop some flames, but no, I just managed a little burble and some pops.
What would be a reason that I failed in my objective? For some reason, hondata has restricted the ignition timing to -4 max. I have seen many videos online where people go -10 or more, but with each update, they seem to have changed this parameter. Could this have been a reason I did not shoot flames on decel?

Also did the 2step/launch control, and after a long time I managed to extract a small flame. Once again, expected alot more.
