Default White smoke from exhaust, head gasket?

Sup guys, so I have another problem. Car was exhausting white smoke, was told that it was the head gasket. I pulled the head off today and see the head gasket in tact, not exactly sure what is causing the white smoke. I've taken pictures so you guys can help me figure it out. Take a look and help me figure out what could be wrong. Since the head is off the block, anything I should do or replace or resurface/clean from the head and block? Also there is this blue rubber substance on the head where the valve cover lines up, how do I go about cleaning that stuff off? Any/all advice is greatly appreciated, thanks for looking.
