hello my name is Oliver, i take my eg4 to the garage to renew the cylinder head gasket. After he changed, he said my ECU P84 is broken, i went there , and the car didn't throttle. When i start it idle normal, but i cannot throttle. He took another ECU( I don't know the serie) and can throttle. He want to sell the ECU very expensive, so that i baught another P84 by myself, but the problem is the same.
Can it be, that if i buy a P28 or another instead of the original P84 , that the car runs? or is the fault perhaps in a sensor, which is not used in another ECU?
