Rear sway bar and/or subframe brace
1997 Honda Del Sol Si
ST Suspensions Sway Bar Sets 52166
Truhart Rear Subframe Brace TH-H111-RE
Truhart Rear Tie Bar TH-H120-RE
Recently had some suspension parts replaced on the front and rear but the one's I had a question about are above. When my mechanic came to my house and installed the rear subframe brace and rear tie bar, he removed the rear sway bar but didn't replace it with the ST sway bar, is this correct or should I take it to a shop? Sorry if this is a stupid question, most of the threads I found talked about del Sols that didn't come with a rear sway bar.

Are you asking if the mechanic should have installed the sway bar you hired them to install?
Without hearing your conversation, and hearing what expectations were set, that is tough to know.
I think your '97 Si sol was originally equipped with a rear sway bar. So if the mechanic took the factory sway bar off and left, that does not sound ideal.

He's saying he can't put the rear sway bar on because the parts he installed replaced it. My question is, can the rear sway bar still be installed or is he right and the rear subframe brace and rear tie bar make it so he can't put it back on?
If i'm not mistaken, the subframe brace will have mounting holes for a 22 or wider sway bar. If the bar you have is smaller than that I believe he is right. But it sounds like he could have given you that explanation real quick other than just calling it good.
