Default Recirculation mode won’t turn off

I just recently bought ( in the last week) a 2020 Honda CRV EX model and noticed that the recirculation mode is on all the time, even after I turn off and restart the car. I’ve tried pushing the recirculation button which doesn’t do anything. The only thing that turns recirculation off is when I turn on defogger but after I turn off defogger, recirculation is on again. How do I turn recirculation mode off? Thank you

The recirc mode will come on if the vehicle is put into auto mode and its trying to cool a vehicle and its wants to go into max air conditioning; in other words recirculating cold air. If the recirculation button is coming on with the air conditioning off or the auto button disengaged then there's likely a problem with the unit and it will need a repair or software update. Its worth noting that even in Auto mode, the recirculation should disengage manually with a button press, and the Auto will disengage.

How did you make out solving this issue?
