Is it true all oil pumps in 2000 where the same b16 gsr itr. Its the one with the eagle in the casting

 

yes, people have said all b series oil pumps are the same but i think their is a vtec one and non vtec. just be safe and get a B16 or irt one if your looking to buy one new. do some more serches its been covered 100s of time.

 

This is true for the early OBD-1 style oil pumps... the VTEC pump flowed slightly more than a non-VTEC pump. However, in 1996 the parts bin was streamlined and ALL "B" series Honda engines came with the same pump... VTEC or not. So, you are both correct.
