randomly since I got the van at 187,000 miles the drive indicator light has randomly flashed. I havent been able to find much out about it and its becoming more frequent now. Once it starts it doesn't stop until I shut the vehicle off and once back on all lights are normal.

Does anyone have any idea what this is? I am an only parent, haven't worked since covid and my mechanic friend said they didn't have any idea so I'm kind of at a loss right now.

Looks like several other indicator lights are also on: Check Engine Light and Maintenance Light.

Get the car scan for trouble codes (actual number codes) and post them. Many auto parts stores will read the trouble codes for free.

 

Pull trans code as here . If it is a pressure switch it is easy to change.

 

The D will flash if there is a perceived failure code for the trans present. If you pull codes it will give you an indication
