Brake lights not working on sides 2009 accord coupe
I can't get a real look(not enough to work with) a wiring diagram of the rear brake lights, and I have a problem that I have seen written about several times.
The right and left brake lights do not work all the sudden. The car has an add-on spoiler and a third brake light (in spoiler) that DOES work. The factory (before spoiler) 3rd brake light did not have a bulb, but if I put one in IT ALSO WORKS.
Both turn signals still work. Both tail lights and back-up lights work.
Horn honks, cruise works.
The add-on spoiler gets its power from the right side in back. The original 3rd brake light that I put a bulb in runs to the left side from the top of the trunk.
I changed both of the non-illuminating brake light bulbs in back and put in new 7443's.
I found the only grounding location in the trunk I could find and it looks great. I removed it and sanded the base and looked at all of it and found tight connections.
I wish I could see the wiring diagram without paying for it. Could anyone give it to me? I am assuming brake pedal switch is working, and I have inspected it but not removed it or put a meter on it. I know how to use meter.
I need help please,,,,,Doug in Little Rock
thanks.
