I'm wanting to simply know about a blinking light.

On the stereo/CD(to the right of CD entrance) is a blinking red light (some kind of anti theft light).....what I'm needing to know is.....when the other owners of this car turn the car off(not setting the alarm, just turning car off and key out of ignition) does that red light automatically blink for you as well?

I'm a bit confused because there is already a round red blinking light on the dash (by speedometer) that when the car is locked with the remote will come on and blink....wondering why there are 2 lights blinking.

The main reason I ask(which I will explain in great depth in a different post if this red light is not supposed to be blinking) is I'm having a parasitic draw(completely draining the car dead in a pretty quick amount of time) that no mechanic can figure out so I'm having to play detective......thanks for the help.
