Default Alot of Codes

Hey Guys,

I am new to forum. I have a 2002 CRV and it has 194,000 miles on it. I got my first code P0171 (Lean Bank 1) and P1164 (A/F ratio lean) . I replaced O2 sensor with Denso front and back a month ago and and kept getting code. I replaced all 4 ignition coils about 2 weeks ago because I was getting lean bank 1 code. The car when I drive it feels like it stumbles when you put foot on gas and lurches through until you hit cruising speed. If you go up hill it struggles. Today I got 4 codes P0171, P1167, P1078 (ntake Manifold Runner Control System Malfunction High RPM and P1167 (Air/Fuel Ratio Sensor 1 Heater System Malfunction).

Would a bad IMRC cause all these issues or is it something else? I'm tired of throwing money at this based on what ODB reader says. I want to fix it once and for all.

Thanks

It's generally not advised to just replace parts because of a given OBD2 code. Exhaust/emissions codes are usually the result of something going wrong with intake/timing/combustion processes. It sucks that you've already spent some money on this... To answer, yes if the IMRC system malfunctions, it can cause hesitation, stumbling and set a couple different codes. Start with diagnosing the IMRC system. Do you have a manual or access to circuit diagrams/pinouts, etc? You'll need a multi-meter as well.

Hopefully the runner actuator is just dirty from normal wear and tear, maybe a cleaning would fix it?

I remember some diagrams I posted on another thread for P0661 - Which is a related code and involves testing the IMRC system, https://honda-tech.com/forums/honda-...ssues-3344817/ figured it might help you get started.
