Default A small piece of white stuff in engine

I took off the oil cap and saw this small piece of white stuff and im sure its not something that fall in the engine on accident, tried using a plier to take it out but its sticking, it feels like a very hard piece of gum. Could it be part of the valve cover gasket? (This is a d16y7)

Looks like liquid gasket maybe. I wouldn’t worry about it if it’s not loose.

Yup if its kinda gummy it just looks like RTV. People use it in the corners of the valve cover gaskets to keep them from leaking. Ide be tempted to rip it out its looking kind of precarious.
