Default Del Sol SI w/ 92 hatch suspension

Hello

Sorry if this was asked but I looked, and can't find it.. I just bought factory 92-95 civic dx hatchback struts for a friend's stock worn 94 SI Del sol. I'm sure they fit but I'm not sure the suspension travel's all the same. If i unbox and he puts them on will his car be taller? Sol height is shorter than hatch according to Google.. And is the springrate for Si Sol springs more or less than hatches (not SI hatch)?

If the stock DX hatch struts are too different should I must return and get only the hatch shocks and buy Del Sol springs? Ty for your help.

Part # should show compatibility if the manufacture has it listed on their site. To play less of a guessing game a bit more research would help because you might not be able to return it if you used it.

Yeah I searched this for a few months, I want to make it for a birthday next week but I can't find anymore info on any site. All I found is the struts are the same but the springs are different springrate so I would guess it's a lower springrate for the EG hatchback if the car is taller. Like you said it's guesswork though, no where I see lists Del Sol stock spring rates.

BTW this is only an issue cause they have Del sol springs, but they don't have the 92-9 Civic FR struts at all or Del sol bumpstops. So I have to part w/ the hatchback assembly. Do you think this is a good idea to get front and rear Del sol springs w/ FL and rear struts and the FR hatch assembly, then to just replace the hatch springs if the springrate is off? Don't want to risk his car being higher on one side...but the mechanic will have to disassemble. Ty for the help so far.
