So I am having a very strange issue with my 2000 civic. Its a Vtec EX D16y8, 5 speed. Car runs really rough when its cold out and takes forever to get started.. Sometimes backfiring like a rifle. However after about 20 mins or so once the car warms up the engine begins to run better and eventually runs like normal with no misses or sputtering and shaking. I pulled codes with a scan tool and It showed th intake air temp sensor was reading high among the other codes being misfire codes and a map sensor code. I replaced the iat sensor and it didnt resole the issue and I am at my wits end trying to figure out whats going on with this thing. Ive seen it could be the computer possibly or the ecu sensor? Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated as to what to look for next to rule out. Thank you!
