Default 3 inch exhaust to electic cutout to 2.25 inch

hey guys! I have some pretty interesting plans for a 450whp daily civic. I have a filly built motor with stock sleeves, so 450 is the most I want to push my motor when I reeeaaaallllyyyy want it turned up. I'm planning on running 3 inch turbo back until just after the front axle, where there will be a 3inch electric cutout with a 90 dump on one side and a 2.25 back to an apexi muffler on the other. my goal is to keep the car very quiet during daily driving and have a much lower "low boost" setting than I could get by turning down my boost controller, and having a ***** to the wall dump for when I want to beat on it in case I see a car that costs the same as my house.

my question is what do you estimate the power would be around with the cutout closed, and are the only side effects more turbo lag and less boost?

will the substantial increase in back pressure harm the engine in any way?

And should i put the dump farther forward, or will it be fine from a power stand point of I put it just behind the car with maybe a side exit, or at least a 90 to reduce any fire hazard.

as always all input appreciated, if it's speculation please tell me so I know that I should salt before consumption.

Cheers!
Chilly.

Just get a boost activated cut out, much simpler and better. I'm very happy with my setup.

to clarify, Ive thought about a boost actuated cutout, but have decided electric is better, reason being that with a 2.25in exhaust after the cutout it would likely lower the boost to less than the spring I have in the wastegate, which would be nice if my tune is pushing the stock sleeves and I still want to drive it to limiter every now and then. I'm mainly asking if anybody has any idea what kind of power to expect when the cutout is closed, if the location is far enough forward to not impact power when open, and if driving flat out with the boost limited by the exhaust size is bad for any part of the engine, I vaguely remember reading an exhaust too small could damage piston rings, but I'm not certain. Thanks for the suggestions, though!

If your wastegate signal hose is connected to the intake manifold, you will NEVER make less boost pressure than the spring pressure (unless the wastegate valve is stuck open, but then you make NO boost).
