Rapid knocking noise from rear wheel when cornering hard.
My '93 makes a fast knocking sound when going around a sharp corner quickly. I think it is coming from the driver-side rear wheel and it is louder when turning right. I don't hear any noise when driving straight. I lifted the wheel off the ground and tried to move the wheel around but I couldn't get it to move. The wheel spins and the bearing doesn't make any grinding noises. I looked at the bushings for all the arms and I didn't see any rubber that looked bad. What else should I do to find what is causing the noise?
Left rear wheel bearing, if noise when turning right from rear. No straight.
When turning the weight is pushed out on the bearing and rubs.

I doubt it would be the CVs, I replaced them two years ago. I'll look though. Just a day ago I drove over a particular sharp bump in the road like I always do commuting. I'm sure that the sound of the rear wheels hitting it was louder and deeper than normal. Would that point to something other than a wheel bearing?
What's a wheel bearing, a 1 nut job?
I can handle one nut job.
You take 4 lug nuts off , the drum pops off, yeah the center 36mm or whatever nut...thats easy.
