Default Do I need to use sealant on the new intake manifold gasket.

I have removed the intake manifold on my 1999 CRV. when I removed it, the intake manifold gasket was stuck to the cylinder head with some type of black sealant.
I couldn't actually get the gasket to come off. I am the original owner of this vehicle and as far as I know this came from the factory this way. do I need to use some type of sealant on the new
OEM gasket. the intake gasket surface is in very good shape and the cylinder head was worked on (valves etc ...) and the surfaces where cleaned so the cylinder head intake
gasket surface is also in very good shape.

Nope. Gasket is installed dry. Heat activates the glue to form the bond.
